All my data, transactions, history and accounts are missing after upgrading from Self Employed to Online

My accountant upgraded my account to Online from Self employed and now EVERYTHING is missing, years of data gone. How do I get it back?

Hi there, Chris. I'll point you in the right direction to help you retrieve all your data and have it available inside QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

We recommend contacting our Customer Care Team so they can check your account in a secure environment. This way, they can investigate and determine the reason why your data from QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) didn't carry over to QBO when your accountant upgraded the subscription. We'll outline the steps to get you going:

 

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the top right corner, click Help (?).
  3. Use the search field to enter your inquiry. You can also select Contact Us, then select a topic to connect with our support team.
