Question

Are any other users experiencing “we’re fetching your data" and nothing is happening. Before you ask..yes, my internet connection is strong and fast. Any suggestions?

Good morning, @gerald-boston98.

Thanks for reaching out to us here in the Community.

It sounds like your browser may be holding too much stored data. Let's try to open QuickBooks in a private window. Opening QuickBooks in a private window will allow a clean slate with the web browser's cache (stored data). I have the keyboard shortcut keys posted below to open a private window.

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N

If using a private window for you, I recommend clearing the cache from your browser. Web browsers collect cache (stored data) to save you time when loading repetitive data and images. These files can often become outdated or corrupted, causing issues like the one with your error message "We're fetching your data". I've included the links for all supported browsers that contain the steps for clearing the cache below.

Don't hesitate to let me know if you have further questions or concerns. You can always reach back out to the Community or me any time you find you need a helping hand in getting back to business. Take care and enjoy your week!
