Automatic late fees

My automatic late fees have not been generated for this month. This creates a lot of extra work for me and frankly, with what we pay for Quickbooks, I'm a bit miffed that I keep having issues! Also I have no idea if this is a permanent problem or a one time glitch?

Welcome, and thank you for raising your concern about late fees not being generated on your invoices. I know this is a very important feature to encourage customers to pay on time, so let’s find out what causes this behavior.

 

Upon checking our system, the said feature works normally, so let's dig into your Late fees settings to see more details.

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Accounts and Settings.
  3. Select Sales.
  4. Click on the Late fees section.

 

Make sure the feature is turned on and see if you have the correct grace period. If the setting seem to be fine, please contact our QuickBooks Customer Care to check this further using a screen-share tool.
