Bank Account Transactions

Hi .. I need help and the Bot was not sending me the right response. I just started with invoicing (will likely have more questions on this!) and when I set it up I entered my bank account to receive the deposits. I now have verification transactions to enter and can't find where to do this.

Hi, @lbrashear. Thank you for reaching the Community. I'd be glad to provide information to help you fix your concern about bank account transactions in QuickBooks Online.

 

Since you’re new to invoicing, I suggest signing up for QuickBooks Payments. It allows you to process customers' payments seamlessly. They can then pay their invoices online by credit card or ACH bank transfer.

 
To sign up, you can follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and Select Settings ⚙ and then select Account and Settings.
  2. Click Payments. In the QuickBooks Payment section, select Learn more
  3. Select Set up Payments.

 

From there, it opens the signup window with three sections to fill in. For more details about this process, here’s a guide you can follow: Sign up for QuickBooks Payments.

 

Once done, you can now manually connect your payments account so you’ll be able to process payments in QBO. These are the articles to guide you further:

Hi, so I already did all of that. I am asking where to enter the amounts that were deposited and withdrawn from my bank account to verify my account. I bank with a bank that unfortunately does not automatically connect so there were transactions made that normally have to be entered somewhere. Do I not need to do that?
