I had to delete some duplicate transactions that were manually entered in my qbo. Now, my balance is off when trying to reconcile. Any help on this subject is appreciated.

Welcome to the Community, @lindsayc55. Allow me to share some insights to fix the beginning balance when reconciling in QuickBooks Online.

Don't worry if the beginning balance is off when you reconcile an account for the first time. An inaccurate opening balance is usually the cause of the beginning balance issue. When you first created the account in QuickBooks, you set this as the account's beginning point.

Double-check the account you're reconciling's opening balance. When you create an account, the beginning balance may or may not include transactions that were still outstanding when you create the account.

Make sure to review and compare the opening balance and transactions with your bank account statement.

Here's how:

  1. Review the opening balance in QuickBooks.
  2. Compare the opening balance with your real-life account.
  3. Review your account register.
  4. Once you've established that your initial balance is correct, you can start reconciling.

If you get a notification regarding an inaccurate starting balance, check this article: Fix issues for accounts you've reconciled in the past in QuickBooks Online.
