Question

Biz down 2 zero, all employees now inactive. I am doing some clean up and need some reports but the system says that timeframe not available. Is this related?

I'm here to make sure we can get this sorted out, @811autumn

Will you be closing your QuickBooks subscription soon? Can you clarify on the exact details of the error message you're facing? When running a report, make sure to choose a date range only that has transactions and select the Inactive Employees status.

  1. On the report page, select a date range. Ensure that it doesn't go beyond before the first transaction.
  2. Select Inactive Employees from the Employee drop-down arrow.
  3. Click Run report.

You can check out this article to see the complete list of available reports for your QuickBooks Online version:

In case you need to cancel your account, please visit this link for the detailed steps: Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription.

Furthermore, QBO will hold on to your data up to one year. I'd suggest saving all of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) data by exporting the information so it can be saved, stored, and transferred digitally if needed. You can also pick up where you left off if you decide to come back. To re-subscribe, feel free to check out this article: How to reactivate QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if this helps you get the information you're looking for in the report. I'm always around to assist you further. Take care and have a wonderful day!
