Question

Budget vs. actual report is a multi-page report (guessing it would take 6 or 7 pages normally. QBO prints to one page only, so print is so small I can't read any numbers

Have checked printer setting and they are NOT set to fit onto one page.  Have 4 different printers and all print the same, so it doesn't appear to be a printer setting.  It's something within QBO

Hi there, blackjacktxfd.

I'm here to help you fix this printing issue you've encountered in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Printing reports in QBO depends on how you set up the settings. If you're printing it directly in QBO, we have limited options to configure it. Thus, this would be a great time to send this suggestion to our Product Developers so they can review it and might consider adding it in future product updates.

Here's how you can do it:

  1. Click the Gear icon and choose Feedback.
  2. Enter your feedback Suggestion.
  3. Press Next.

Then, you can visit our Feedback forum to track the progress of your feature request. The more requests this gets, the more likely it will be part of the future enhancements.

As a workaround, we can utilize the Save as PDF and review the page set up from the file.

On top of that, I’ve added this great resource that helps you modify your reports and save its current customization settings for future use: Memorize Reports in QuickBooks Online.

The Community space is still open for you. So, if you have more questions about any reports or printing tasks, let us know, and we'll be here to help. Take care always.
