Hi there, sean_peadar-yaho.

Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing some information about the timeout feature in QuickBooks Online. Then, to ensure that you're able to add Quickbooks login security in the system.

QuickBooks has a timeout feature for additional security. This helps prevent any unauthorized access if you're away from your computer. However, there's no option for a user to stay logged in for multiple days. You can only change the default time-out duration from 1 hour to 3 hours.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear ⚙️ icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Choose Account and Settings.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Go to the Other preferences section and click on Edit ✎.
  5. Choose 12, or 3 hours from the Sign me out if inactive drop-down arrow.
  6. Select Save and click Done.

On the other hand, there's a “Two-step verification” in QBO that you can set up for Quickbooks login security. This is a setting where you confirm that you’re the one signing in to your account using your password and a unique code. To perform this process, you can click this article to see the detailed steps and information: Turn on or turn off two-step verification.

Feel free to reply to this thread if you need more guidance about adding security to your QBO account. I'll be happy to help you some more.
