Can anyone help with subscription cancellation. The online cancel does not work and I can't get anyone to respond through Chat either.

There are times that the browser stores frequently-accessed data, thus causing some errors and/or unusual responses. To isolate the issue, let's try opening your account in a private (incognito) window. Using a safe browser and accessing the program from there can usually fix the issue.

 

Check out these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Command + Shift + N (Safari)
  • Ctrl+ Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox) 

Once logged in, go back and try to cancel your subscription again. Follow these steps to cancel:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an admin user. 
  2. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Account and Settings.
  3. Select the Billing & Subscription tab.
  4. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel.
  5. Follow the steps on the screen to cancel your subscription.
