Question

Can anyone tell me why my logo is distorted on my reports? For some reason the dimensions of the height & width are wrong and the logo doesn't display properly.

I've got some idea why this is happening, doug107.

When uploading the logo, check if you follow these guidelines. These could be the reason why the logo is distorted:

  • It's in supported format, like .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file.
  • Its file size is smaller than 10 MB.
  • It has a bit depth (or color depth) of 24-bits or less.
  • It uses the standard RGB color space (RGB).
  • Its shape is square. Rectangles don't work.

If so, this could be a browser-related issue. The stored cache can affect how the logo is displayed.

To resolve this, I'd suggest logging in to your QuickBooks Online account via a private window. Doing so helps us determine if there's an issue with the browser.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

After signing in, run the report. If it works, let's clear the browser cache to delete all saved data files and improve the program's performance.

You can also use other supported browsers if private browsing doesn't work.

Additionally, I've added these articles that'll help you manage your reports in QuickBooks Online:

Thanks - I've found that the logo has to be SQUARE so I've had to go in and edit the logo file I had (rectangular) to get it squared up. Now I'll have to flush the cache per your suggestion :)
