Can I add an accountant to my QuickBooks Online account if I currently don’t have access to the phone number registered for verification (can’t receive texts or calls)?

While you cannot add an accountant directly without access to the credentials registered for verification, we can help you update your login credentials in the Intuit Account Manager, @sdlfba
 

This way, you can access the phone number for the verification process when adding your accountant, provided you can log in to your QuickBooks Online account. Here’s how you can do it:
 

  1. Navigate to your accounts profile and select Manage your Intuit Account
  2. Click on the Sign in & security tab. 
  3. Move to the Phone section, then Verify
  4. Click the Change hyperlink and enter your new phone number. 
  5. Hit Save once you’re done.
