Can I add an authorization user to my Quickbook Checking account?

My husband and I would both like to have a business debit card for our QB checking account. How do I add him as a user and get him his own card?

Let's add your husband as one of your company admins so he can view your QuickBooks balance without delays.

 

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear or Settings icon ⚙. 
  2. Select Manage Users.
  3. Select Add user.
  4. Select the user type you want to create.
  5. Enter your new user’s name and email address.
  6. Select Save.

In order for your husband to get a separate card, he can sign up for a checking account and answer a few additional questions to comply with bank regulations.

You'll want to ensure that your QBO account and bank balance are matched by performing the reconciliation process regularly. Once finished, the program will automatically create a report for that session. You can use that data to serve as a reference in doing future reconciliation.
