Can I back up Quickbooks Essentials?

I'm here to share some information about backing data files, zamara.

Backup data files copy is currently unavailable. Though, you can export the data from your QuickBooks Essentials. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), only the Advanced version can create an automatic or manual backup. To learn more about this and to know what data gets backed up, refer to these articles:

However, if you're using other versions of QBO either Simple Start, Essentials, or Plus, you can export the following reports and lists into individual Excel files. Check this article for more information: Export reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks Online.

I think that's a horrendous answer. You have to go with the most expensive plan to get the most needed and universal feature? I have to hire a new accountant and I want a full backup before I bring her on.

This right here fully demonstrates a lack of concern for the safety and security of our data, and therefore a total lack of concern for our company over your own profit.

I'll be searching immediately for an alternate product after 8 years of being with Quickbooks.

You may have 2 options:

1. Use a 3rd party backup restore app

2. Convert your data to QB Desktop file and use the trial version to access your historical data for good. You will start for scratch in a new program to lower your conversion costs.
