Hello, spacecraftlounge.

Yes, you can delete transactions by batch. However, there are selected transactions you can delete by bulk, like Invoices, Sales receipts, Refunds, and Estimates. Some transaction types not mentioned are unable to delete by batch.

  1. Click the Sales. Then All Sales
  2. Choose the transactions, like Invoices, Sales receipts, Refunds, and Estimates
  3. Click the drop-down menu under Batch action
  4. Select Delete
  5. You'll prompt to a message. Hit Yes to delete it.

I can see how deleting other transactions in bulk would be helpful. It would save time as you won't have to go through each entry to delete them. Rest assured that I'll relay this message to our team in concern here on my end and add your vote for this one.

You can also share your thoughts and ideas through your account. Our product development team reviews all the feedback we receive to ensure we’re meeting the needs of our customers.

Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions then select Next.
  3. You'll be provided a list of suggested Help articles related to your comment. You can read through them or select Skip and send message.
  4. From the drop-down, choose the appropriate category, then select Send message.

You can also read this article for more information: Void or Delete an Invoice or Other Transactions

However, If you mean the delete option aren't showing up, then let's open your QBO account using an incognito window. This to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue.

You can refer to these shortcut keys:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P for Internet Explorer or Firefox.
  • Press Ctrl Shift N for Chrome.
  • Hold down Command Shift N for Safari.

If it works, I suggest clearing the cache of your regular browser. Or use a supported, up-to-date browser, to have the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks Online. Then, you can now follow the steps above.

Let me know if you have any other concerns. I'm always here to lend a hand and help you further. Have a good day.

Hello there,

Could you tell me what transactions you are trying to delete? From which page are you in doing this task? I'd appreciate it if you could provide me a screenshot. This way, we could determine the best solution appropriate for you.

In the meantime, you can perform some basic troubleshooting steps. You can open a private window. This way, it can help clear some browser-related concerns. Here's how to access incognito mode in some of the most commonly used web browsers:

  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Internet Explorer or Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P

If the private browsing session works, clear the browser's cache so the system can restart. This task is also possible in other supported, up-to-date browsers. Clearing the cache will reboot the system, allowing you to work with clearing stocked cache and cookies that is causing the issues.
