Hi there, @bexmg.

To further help you, I'd like to know what specific area in QuickBooks you want to change the new layout.

Thank you for your reply.

I would like to revert back to the old format for entering invoices. This new layout is bad for me.

Being able to switch back to the old invoice format will depend on your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription, @bexmg

I know that certain updates may not be suitable for everyone. However, enhancements are made to optimize the user's product navigation. I'll share details about this.

Around 70k customers who use QBO Simple Start and Essentials will be transitioned to the new invoice layout starting April 24th, with no option to revert back

Those users of QBO Plus and Advanced will still be able to revert to the old invoice layout before May 6. Here's how:

  1. Click the +New menu.
  2. Next, select Invoice.
  3. Once opened, click the Old layout icon located at the top right corner of the page.

For more information about these changes, feel free to check these articles:

After you've got everything sorted, you can use this resource to help customize the invoice forms to reflect more of your business identity: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Click the Reply button if you have other concerns about the invoice layout. I'm here ready to provide a prompt response. Have a good one.
