Can I delete a project after merging to another if the payroll remains in Profitability reports but everything else has transfered?

I transferred all the transactions to merge 2 projects and would like to delte the old one. All but the paytoll in the Profitability report transfered. The time cost reports and the time by employee transferred. Will i loose the paychecks if I delete the old project?

This is just the right place to get the answers you're looking for regarding the Project feature, @Foster3.

If there are no open transactions associated with the project, you can delete them. Deleting a project won't delete your transactions or paychecks. However, the project name linked to it would show as "deleted."

Here’s how to delete a project:

  1. Click Projects on the left dashboard menu.
  2. Locate the project.
  3. In the Action column on the far right, select the Options dropdown and choose Delete.
  4. Then, select Yes.

If there are already transactions involved, you would want to change the project to “Mark as completed” status.

If you wish to make them active again, these steps will ensure your success:

  1. Go to Projects.
  2. Click the small Gear icon in the top-right section of the project list.
  3. Put a check on Show deleted projects.
  4. Click the down arrow beside the Options setting of a deleted project.
  5. Choose Undelete and mark as in progress.
