Can I generate reports for different companies under 1 subscription plan?

In QuickBooks Online, it's one company per subscription or account. That being said, you're unable to generate reports for different companies under one subscription.

It also goes when categorizing transactions. They will be categorized by the accounts under one company file.

One QBO account is for one company file. You can manage branches/divisions by utilizing the Class/Location feature available in QBO Plus and Advanced. Otherwise you should open a new account.
