Can I have quicbooks do bookeeping seperately on 1 account for 2 businesses? or can I have 2 accounts under 1 login?

If your companies are located in the US, you have to open a seperate account. You may have more than one account with the same email address. You will find a list of your accounts after login.

If both entities report under the same tax ID (example is a sole proprietor performing landscaping and has a rental property) you can track separate business activity with Class tracking in Plus or Advanced
