I do not want to print only OPEN sales orders. I want to print ALL sales order that have been created regardless to whether they have been invoiced or are closed.

For the SO report, filter on Open status = any.

Hello kathy,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

In QuickBooks, the closest we can get is the Transaction Lists by Customer report. This can be customized to only show the Sales Orders.

Here are the Steps:

  1. Go to the Reports menu at the top , and select Customers and Receivables.
  2. Select Transaction List by Customer.
  3. Click Customize Report in the upper left.
  4. Go to the Filters tab.
  5. Under the Choose Filter list, select Transactions Type
  6. Under Account to the right, click the drop-down and select Sales Order.
  7. Click OK.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have other questions. It's my pleasure to help you.

I just created a more specific report for Sales Order Numbers.  You need to go to Customize Reports & select Transaction Type.  You will need to filter for Transaction Type & select Sales Orders.  You will also need to filter for Posting Status & select Non-Posting.  After that you can customize the report as you wish.

Have you found a way to total the columns?
