Can I purge my company to start over will this affect my linked bank account?

I get this note in the directions Note: If you have banks or other third party apps connected, purging your company can permanently damage these connections for this company.

You should disconnect all 3rd party apps including the bank feeds before purging your account. Keep in mind, if you are using QBO Simple Start or your account > 60 days old, you should open a new blank account instead and cancel the old one.
