Can I run a report in QBO by GL account segment?

For example, if the account number is structured like this, XXXX.***.XX, can I run a report that will pull only accounts that contain the .***. string?  Assume the XXXX is an expense and the *** is a department, and XX is a further breakdown.

Currently, a report will only show the structured account number and it can't be customized by account segment.

 

I understand that you want to run a report by account segment. This way, you can specify each component of the structured account number. For now, I suggest submitting feedback directly to our product engineers. They may look into this suggestion and consider adding the option in future updates. To submit feedback, you can click the Gear icon and select Feedback. Then, enter your suggestion and click Submit Feedback.
