Can I run a report to include the "Sales Rep" field from my invoices?

Trying to track and sort which "Sales Rep" made the sale on the Product and Sales Report but it is not pulling that field in my report. Any idea how to track sales by the sales rep field on my invoices? Thanks.

Hi there, @tennistown.

You can run a transaction list report showing invoices which are utilizing the Sales Rep custom field in QuickBooks Online.

Let's pull up and customize your Transaction list by Customer report to generate a list of invoices with the names of your sales representative. I'll walk you through the steps to accomplish this.

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Enter Transaction List by Customer in the Search address.
  3. Open the report displayed on the suggestion.
  4. Select Customize.
  5. Choose a reporting period accordingly.
  6. Under the Filter menu, select Transaction Type and Sales Rep.
  7. On the Transaction Type menu, choose Invoices.
  8. Enter the name of the sales representative in the Sales Rep text area.
  9. Click Run report.

Now you're able to see a list of invoices with the sales representative's names on them. Kindly read this article to learn more about how to get the most out of your financial reports: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Aside from customizing them, you're also able to generate a report showing other data of transactions based on the financial status you need. To do that, here's the topic you can utilize for reference: Create and Manage Reports in QuickBooks Online.

If there's anything else that I can help you with aside from generating a report listing certain invoices in QuickBooks, please let me know by tagging my name, @JonpriL, in the comments below. I'll be around and ready to help. Take care always and stay safe!
