Can I run report "transaction by account" with all GL accounts instead of Split column?

Thanks for posting in the Community, @salman1.

Do you want to only show all the GL accounts in the Transaction by Account report, correct? If so, there isn't a direct way to do this in QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, there are three options that I can think of to achieve this as a workaround. The first one is to remove the Split column.

Here's how:

  1. In the Transaction by Account report, tick the Customize option at the top right.
  2. In the Rows/Columns drop-down, select the Change columns, then remove the checkmark on the Split box.
  3. Hit Run report to refresh.

The second one is to click the drop-down arrow beside each account to collapse all the transactions. Here's a sample screenshot.

The last option is to export the report to Excel and customize it from there. Consider checking out this article for the detailed steps on how: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online.

I'll pass along your suggestion to our Product Developers. They're always looking for ideas to consider on how to improve QBO. In the meantime, I recommend visiting our Blog site. This is where we share recent happenings and future developments, such as updates to newly added features.

Just in case, I'll add this article for future reference: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
