Thanks for posting, @peacefulpinesres.

I'll share the steps on how to sync your bank account with QuickBooks. You'll want to update your bank info using a private browser. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues. Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox).
  • Press Command + Shift + N (Safari).

After that, follow these steps to update.

  1. Go to the Banking menu and the pick the Banking tab.
  2. Choose the tile for the bank account. Then tap the Edit ✎ icon.
  3. Select Edit sign-in info. See the image below.
  4. Update your info as needed.

If you're able to sync, go back to your regular browsing mode and clear the cache. This process helps the browser to fetch the latest version of the webpage and faster browsing experience. Then approve and categorize transactions.

For more information about bank errors, check out this article: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Once done approving and matching transactions, proceed with reconciling the account. Check out this link for details: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

If you have follow-up questions and concerns with bank connections, please let me know in the reply section below and I'll be happy to answer them for you. Take care and have a good one.
