Can Paypal be used to pay for my subscription?

The selection for Pay pal is greyed out.

I'll share additional details on how to manage your Online subscription and ensure you can pay successfully.

 

If you're resubscribing, you must use the same payment method and billing frequency as your previous subscription once your account becomes inactive. 

 

Once resubscribed, that's the time you can change to a different payment method (PayPal). Refer to this article for guidance: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

 

In addition, you can also pay your QuickBooks subscription using direct debit or bank transfer. Check this article as your guide: Use direct debit to pay your QuickBooks Online subscription.

Thank you for posting, @pamela. As 4Gal said, PayPal is acceptable for QuickBooks subscriptions. Let me guide you on updating your payment method.

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙, then select Subscriptions and Billing.
  3. Next to your payment method, select Edit ✎.
  4. This will open the Wallet list, where you can add a new payment to be used for QuickBooks Online billing.
  5. Once you save your changes, the updated payment method will be visible on the Subscriptions and Billing page.
