Can someone help me? My 1099 Contractor Balance Detail Report is not generating any information, no matter what dates I put in.

There are times that the browser is already full of frequently accessed page resources (cache and cookies), causing some unusual responses. To isolate this, let's sign in to your QBO account using a private browser (incognito).

 

Here's how:

 

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

 

Once logged in, try to pull up your 1099 Contractor Balance Detail report again to double-check. If everything looks good, go back to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

None of these worked.  I still can't see anything when I run that report.  Please help!

Please know that by default the 1099 Contractor Balance reports do not show payments. The report will appear any open and unpaid transactions for the contractors. Then, I suggest making sure that you run the 099 Contractor Balance Detail Report with the correct accounting method. This is to ensure that the right data will show on the said statement. I attached a screenshot below for visual reference.
