Can't change logo

We had a new company logo created and I've been trying to update it in quickbooks since October but it won't work. I've spent hours online with representatives who have tried to walk me through different solutions but nothing would work. then they finally said it's a software issue and their engineers are trying to fix it. Is anyone else having this issue? I really need to get it updated so it matches with everything else.

Hello there, @yaks2much4u1. I understand how important it is to change your logo in QuickBooks Online, as it's an essential element in establishing your company's brand and personality.

If you're using QuickBooks Online Accountant, yes, there's an ongoing investigation wherein users were unable to change the logo. Since you've already contacted our support, you'll receive email updates on the progress of the investigation. You'll also receive a notification as soon as the issue is resolved.

On the other hand, if you're using the regular QuickBooks Online versions, let's ensure that the logo you're trying to attach meets the requirements so that you can successfully change it.

Here are the specific logo requirements:

  • a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file
  • smaller than 10 MB
  • 24 bits or less in bit depth (or color depth)
  • square-shaped since rectangles don't work
  • using the standard RGB color space
  • convert to an RGB image using tools (such as Adobe Photoshop) if your logo is CMKY-formatted.

To add your logo, you can follow these steps:

  1. Hover to the Gear icon, then select Custom form styles.
  2. At the upper right, from the New style dropdown, select the appropriate form.
  3. If you want to upload a logo on an existing template, find the template, then select Edit under the Action column.
  4. Go to the Design tab, then select Add your unique logo.
  5. Select the box with Add a logo +, then the + on the next window.
  6. Locate and select the image you want to use.
  7. Select Open. Once uploading is done, choose Save, then Done.

Moreover, you can email or print multiple sales forms in QuickBooks Online. This way, you can efficiently manage your sales forms and keep track of your financial transactions.

You can return here anytime if you need further help changing your logo, @yaks2much4u1. I'm  always here to assist you.

I was using the accountants view so I switched it to business view and tried to change it. It still wouldn't work. I have several file formats for our logo and have tried each one and none of them will work. Hopefully they will get this fixed soon!

I had the same issue, but was using Safari. I tried using Chrome and it worked.

I have tried using 3 different web browsers and none would work. I use a MAC computer so I also tried doing it on a Windows computer and it still wouldn't work. I don't know what else to try?

This is not the kind of experience we want you to have when trying to change your logo in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @yaks2much4u1.

There's an ongoing issue that occurs when trying to change company logos while using QuickBooks Online for Accountants (QBOA). Our Product Engineering team is already working on a resolution for this matter. In the meantime, I recommend that you contact our Customer Support Team to report the issue. By doing so, you can be added to the list of affected users and receive an email notification once we resolve the issue. You can reach them by going to the Help icon at the top right of the account. Then, let them add you to Investigation No. 91466.

If you're only subscribed to QuickBooks Online, please reach out to our Customer Support team and let them know the troubleshooting steps you've already taken. This will help them isolate the issue you're experiencing and provide the necessary assistance to resolve it using their tools in a safe and secure environment.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Help icon to connect to a live support agent.
  2. Select the Search tab and click on the Contact Us button.

  3.  Select a topic for your concern in the What can we help you with? section.
  4. You'll now be provided options on how to connect to our Customer Support.

You can check this article for more information about the different types of support we offer and their availability: QuickBooks Online Support.

Here's more information about updating your email address, user ID, password, and other information for your QuickBooks account: Update or change your Intuit Account sign-in information

Hi,

I did report the problem to quickbooks back in October and get an email every month since then saying they are working on it but don't have a solution yet.  Hopefully they will get this fixed soon because we would like to include our logo on our invoices and estimates.

We are having the same issue using QBO Accountant.  We are on windows computer using Google Chrome.  There was a previous workaround to edit the management reports to delete "-v2" from the web address, but this is no longer working as of Monday, 3/4/2024.  It was working last week.  Hopefully the engineers can at least get the workaround turned back on so we can issue management reports with our firm logo for our clients.  With this being tax season at our busiest time of the year, this is terrible timing.

Is there any update on this issue? I reported the problem in October 2023 but it still hasn't been fixed. Every month I try and update my Logo to see if they have fixed the problem. It looks really unprofessional when our invoices don't have our company logo that is on everything else we send to customers.
