Can the Sales by Donor Detail report be created in Simple Start (QB OL)? Invoices incl qty, sale price and amount. I no longer see quantity in the detail reports.

Let me share some insights about running sales reports in QuickBooks Simple Start.

Yes, you're right. You can only see the Sales by Member Summary in your reports menu. Also, 

running the Sales by Donor Detail report is unavailable in QuickBooks Simple Start.

That said, I'd suggest upgrading your Simple Start service to QuickBooks Online Essential, Plus, or the Advanced version. These versions will show the Sales by Donor Detail report that includes invoices, quantity, sales price, and amount.

Before changing your plan, I'd first suggest visiting this website: QuickBooks Online (QBO) Plans. This link lets you view the comparison and pricing chart between the online versions of QuickBooks.

When you're ready, you can upgrade your subscription. Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Select Account and Settings.
3. Select Billing & Subscription.
4. From the QuickBooks section, select Upgrade.
5. You'll be presented with options for upgrading, along with features and pricing. Select Upgrade for the product you want.
6. If prompted, enter payment information.
7. Confirm the upgrade and new billing rate. Then, select Confirm Upgrade.
