I seem to have gotten myself in a pickle. I have an s Corp with two DBA's. I thought it made sense to make two separate accounts, which is where I started, but it doesn't. Lol. And now I can't delete the info from the first accounts and it's downright confusing when I go to log in.

Hi there, wendywanderlocks.

Yes, you can delete a company file if you have QuickBooks Online Essentials, Plus, and Advanced versions and your books is less than 60 days old. Just a heads up, if you have banks or other third party apps connected, purging or deleting your company can permanently damage these connections for this company.

Here's how to delete the file:

  1. On the Sign in page, locate the URL in your browser's address bar.
  2. Delete all the text after the last / and enter purgecompany

    For example:
    Before: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage
    After: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
  3. Select Yes to confirm.
  4. Click Wipe data.

if your books are older than 60 days old, you'll have to cancel the subscription.

As always, you can visit our Help Articles page if in case you need to learn some "How do I" steps.

It'll be always my pleasure to help if you have any other questions. I'll  be keeping an eye for your response.
