Question

Can you export past payroll checks? I tried to export them in payroll settings, but it didn't download properly, and now there is no option to export.

I can show you another way to export previous paychecks, gregbarrydds.

You'll be able to export individual paychecks if you're using our QuickBooks Online Payroll standalone product.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Payroll menu, select Employees.
  2. On the right, below the Run Payroll button, click the Payroll list link in blue.
  3. Ensure to select the correct date range for the past paychecks, then hit the Run Report button.
  4. Put a checkmark in the box for one or more checks you wish to export.
  5. At the upper right part, click the Share dropdown and choose Export to Excel.

Thank you for taking the time to reply!  I should have specified that I need it in QBO format.  Or I need to know how to convert it from excel to QBO.
