Can you have more than one PRIMARY admin in quickbooks online?

Hello,

My company uses quickbooks online and we would like to have more than one PRIMARY admin. Is it possible to have more than one primary admin in QBO, or can you only have one?

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), there can only be one primary admin per company file, Jeff, as they hold the highest level of access, allowing them to manage users, including adding or removing them and modifying their access levels.

 

While you cannot have multiple primary admins, you can assign various user roles with different permissions, such as Company admin. This role has many of the same capabilities as the Primary admin, but they cannot manage the subscription or change the primary admin.

 

Moreover, you also have the option to change the primary admin and assign this role to another QuickBooks user. Or, if the individual is not yet a QuickBooks user, you can add them as a new user and transfer the role to them once their account has been created.
