Question

Can you resubscribe a canceled company in QBO for just 6 months? Or are all subscriptions 1 year?

Yes, Alan. You can resubscribe to your canceled QuickBooks Online (QBO) account within a year of cancellation. I’d be happy to guide you through the resubscribing process.

If it's been less than a year since you canceled your subscription, your old data will still be available upon resubscribing. Please note that you'll need to use the same payment method and billing frequency as your previous subscription.

Regarding the subscription length, you can choose a minimum duration of just 1 month; it doesn’t have to be a full year.

Here's how to resubscribe to your QBO company:

  1. Sign in to your QBO company using your previous login credentials.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Click Resubscribe for your QuickBooks plan and enter the updated billing info.
  4. Select Subscribe.
