Question

Can you tell me why I cannot print any reports? When I go to Reports it shuts down QB.

Thanks for bringing your concern to us, mwatl8291.

Let's perform some basic troubleshooting to isolate your issue with printing reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To check if this has something to do with the browser you use, you'll want to use an incognito window. Browsers have caches that temporarily save your browsing data. When it's full, you could experience unusual behaviors in QuickBooks like the inability to print reports, unresponsive buttons. Below are some of the keyboard shortcuts that you can follow:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

If this works, try to clear your browser’s cache. There are times unexpected behavior occurs. You can always get back to me here in the forum if you have follow-up questions. Please take care.

However, if you see an error message or code, please let me know so we can find more troubleshooting options for the specific error.

I also have some additional articles about managing a wide range of reports in QBO:

I also added our help articles where you can learn more about banking, account management, and many others. You can select each to view them.
