Cant use my 2 step authorization

Our old primary admin has strangely been switched back to our primary admin after months of strange events happening. We have her log in information, but she set up 2 step authorization which is linked to our landline that had a pre recording. So when they call to give the link, QB robot thinks our robot is a human and gives a code to no one. The only way to turn off 2 step, from what I know, is to login as primary admin. How on earth do we log into primary admin without the 2 step authorization access. I feel like I'm in, or have been, in the twilight zone with this company for months now.

I can share a few information on how you can log in to your company file. 

 

You'll want to reset the password and once you've successfully reset it, you can directly log in and update your user settings. 

 

Here's how to reset: 

 

  1. Close and reopen your company file.
  2. On the Company Login window, select I forgot my password.
  3. Select an email from the dropdown list, then Next. If you don’t see your email address, select Don’t see your email in the list above? and follow the onscreen instructions.
  4. Enter the token from your email. If you're unable to see an email from us in your inbox, kindly check your Spam folder.
