Change default invoice print to email to print to printer

 When creating an invoice, you have the option to select either the "Print Later" or "Email Later" boxes. These preferences have different effects and can cause automatic selection. It's important to note that each customer record has a preference for the preferred delivery method. If you change it from email to mail, the "Email Later" box won't be selected for that specific customer. Additionally, you can set an overall preference for how you want the default behavior to be, regardless of the customer's preferred delivery method. To turn off the auto-selection all the time, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Edit menu, then select Preferences.
2. Choose Send Forms, then click the My Preferences tab.
3. Uncheck the Auto-check the "Email Later" checkbox if the customer's Preferred Delivery method is e-mail box.

RE: When I finish creating a customer invoice and need to create a PDF, QBE Enterprise 23, running Windows 11, defaults to "print to email" and I have to consistently uncheck it. 

Do you mean the "Email Later" checkbox on the invoice form, pictured here?

If so, then there is not on, but two different preferences that cause it to be automatically selected.

First, on each customer record there is a preference for the preferred delivery method, If you change it from E-mail to Mail, then the box won't be selected for that customer:

Second, each user can set an overall preference as to how they want it to behave, regardless of customers' preferred delivery method. To turn off the auto-selected all the time, go to Edit | Preferences | Send Forms | My Preferences and de-select the "Auto-check the "Email Later" checkbox if the customer's Preferred Delivery method is e-mail" option, which does exactly what is says.
