    I'm here to help you add this information to your account. 

     

    Please follow these steps to change your company address and add the company tax number: 

    • Go to the Gear icon at the top right corner of your screen. 
    • Select Company Settings. 
    • Click the Pencil icon on the right side of the Contact info column. 
    • Enter the new company address here, and then click Save. 
    • A few columns below contact info, you'll be able to click the Pencil icon to the right of the PAN and CIN columns, add the info, and click Save.

    Sorry that not what I need to do.

    I would like to add a second address to my company. This is because I have 2 locations.

    Hi bd10,

     

    You can only add a legal address and a customer-facing address in QuickBooks. Let me walk you through the steps.

    1. Click Gear.
    2. Click Account and Settings.
    3. Click Company, then click the pencil icon in the Address section.
    4. Uncheck the box next to Same as company under Customer-facing address to add your address where your customers can contact you. This is also the address printed on your sales forms. Do the same if you want to add it under Legal address.
    5. Click Save. Then, Done.

    How to ordwer new checks with new company address

    Good day, @FYHW,

     

    Let me guide you through ordering new checks.

     

    You can select the type of checks you want to order through the Intuit Market site. If you need assistance, simply click the Chat live now button to chat with our QuickBooks agent.

     

    I've also added this article for additional information: Order checks, tax forms, and other supplies.

     

    Once you have the checks, you can then print these with the new company address entered on file.

     I’m here to help you with changing the company address in QuickBooks Online. Here are the steps and screenshots for your visual reference:

     

    1. Go to the Gear icon.
    2. Click Account and settings under Your Company.
    3. Choose the Company tab, then click the pencil icon in the Address section.
    4. Enter the necessary details.
    5. Click Save and then hit Done.

    there is no gear in the top right of my screen

    Hi chuck1947. 

     

    The steps posted above are for our QuickBooks Online product. If you don't have QBO, you wont have that gear icon. If you use QuickBooks Desktop the steps are different. I'll post them below, in case that's the product you have, 

    1. Sign in to camps.intuit.com. Or get help signing in.
    2. Next to Primary Mailing Address, select Change. Note: If this address is connected with a payment method, you need to change the address on the payment method first.
    3. Select the correct address from the list, or select Add a new address.
    4. Select Save and Close.

    I need to override the company address.  The system does not recognize the address as valid.  The address is new address validated by county several months ago.

    Please help.

    I'm here to help override your company address in QuickBooks without delay, @Michelle D.

     

    Unusual QuickBooks behavior, like being unable to recognize your company address can be due to the corrupted web browser files. To rule out this possibility, you can use a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't save any historical data from your frequently visited web pages.

     

    Here are the shortcut keys you can use to get started:

     

    • Ctrl+ Shift + N for Google Chrome .
    • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox  and Microsoft Edge .
    • Command + Shift + N for Safari .

     

    Once done, please sign in to QuickBooks Online as the Master or Company Admin of the account . Then, change the company address as you usually do or you can follow the steps outlined by my peers above. If you're now able to achieve this task, you can clear your original browser's cache to wipe out the outdated internet files.

     

    If private browsing won't work, you can utilize another supported web engine instead.

     

    Also, you can tweak other QuickBooks settings to turn features on or off. This way, you can personalize the program to work the way you want it to.
