Company Email Address

The company email address was changed years ago in QB's.  When asked to login, the system still prefills the old address. I have to change it to the new address every time for it to work.   Also, when asked to do the two part verification, the system still uses the old email address.  I am forced to only use the cell phone text message.  This old email address is no longer associated with the business in any way.  How can it be removed for good?

This is not the experience I want you to encounter in our system, @Slidell NS Rotary.

 

Let me help you remove your old email address from your account. This way, the verification code will send it to your updated email address. 

 

It seems that the old email address is still saved in your company's settings. Follow the steps below to review your setup: 

 

  1. Go to the Company menu and select My Company.
  2. Review your email in the Company Information section. 
  3. Select the Manage Your Account tab if you see the old email address. 
  4. Enter your CAMPS User ID and select your account.

        5. Select the Profile tab, then hit Edit in the Email address field.

        6. Enter your updated email and password. 

        7. Hit Save.   

 

Be sure to verify your email so that QuickBooks will notify your changes. For more details, see this link: Update your user ID, phone number, and contact information for Intuit.

 

After that, re-login your account to verify if it's already performing well. If the issue persists, I'd recommend sending an email change request to our back-end team. To do this, complete the steps below: 

 

  1. Take a high-quality photo of your valid ID ( driver's license, passport, or other government-issued ID or notary documents with your name and address). 
  2. Visit this article and fill up the form: Recover your account when you can't sign in.
  3. Check your email from no_response@intuit.com and follow the next steps.
