Several QBDT Enterprise clients received the Critical Alert: Urgent Action: Bank Letter Required to Receive Funds. These accounts do not and have never signed up for QuickBooks Payments.

Intuit, please give us an update as to why this Critical Alert was pushed out. It has created anxiety and frustration for your software users and loaded us with client questions.

Hi, @jennisbsvb.

I'm here to provide information about the alert your clients are getting in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

We've received reports from users that are having the same issue. A ticket has been created and forwarded to our product engineers. They're now working to fix this as quickly as possible.

While we don't have a specific timeline as to when this will be fixed, I highly suggest contacting our Support team so they can add you to our notification list. This will also help our engineers determine the number of affected users. An email notification will be sent to you once this has been resolved.

Here's how to reach them:

  1. In QBDT, go to the Help menu at the top, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Give a brief description of your issue, then select Let's talk, and then choose a way to connect.

To check for our Support hours, refer to this article: Contact QuickBooks Desktop support.

You can also visit our website for tips and other resources you can use in the future: Self-help articles.

If you have more questions about this or anything else QuickBooks, please let me know in the comments. I want to make sure everything is taken care of for you. Stay safe.
