Currency change in Quickbook POS 2013

I recently installed and configured my company profile and added inventory but I am not conducting my business in the USA so how can I switch the currency to my home currency which is KES (Kenyan shilling)?

At this time, there isn't an option to turn on a multi-currency feature in QuickBooks Point of Sale.

 

But don't worry, I'll pass along your request to our developers so they'll know of your need for a multi-currency feature.

Thank you for the apt response and like to the POS Help hub.
I hope the developers can come up with a solution soon that tackles that setback.

Meanwhile, how can I remove the dollar sign from my sales receipt/inventory list?

Currently, removing the dollar sign from the sales receipt or inventory list isn't possible. I'll make sure to send feedback to our product developers' team to let them know of your business need.
