Deleting a QBO Test Client

I just completed signing up a test client and saved it.  Quickbooks Online  It was just a test to add a client.

If I make the client inactive, the charges will still be sent to me.   How do I delete the client.

Hi there, @Rozmore13.

Thanks for taking the time to reach out here in the Community. I'd be happy to help you with deleting your client in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you're referring to a customer in your QBO account, here's how to inactivate them:

  1. On the left pane, click Sales.
  2. Select the Customers tab.
  3. Click the name of the customer and click the drop-down arrow beside Edit.
  4. Choose Make inactive
  5. Select Yes, make inactive.

If you're trying to remove a client's company in your QBOA account, please refer to the steps below:

  1. Login to your QBOA account.
  2. Click Clients under YOUR PRACTICE on the left menu.
  3. Look for the client's company and click drop-arrow under the ACTIONS column.
  4. Choose Make inactive.

You won't also get charged for trial subscription as long as you didn't enter your payment information. Simply wait for the trial to end and QuickBooks will automatically remove the company file after one year.

.
