Do we have to sign up for this new checking account in order to use Quickbooks?

Hello there, @79blak-gmail-com. Making sure you'll be able to view your QuickBooks balance without delays is my priority. I'm here to provide information about the QuickBooks Checking account.

QuickBooks Checking is used to hold funds just like any other bank account. This is one of the add-on features of QuickBooks Online (QBO). Once ready, here's how you can check your balance:

1. In your QBO account, go to the Banking menu.
2. Then, select Banking tab.
3. From there, check your in QuickBooks balance.
4. You can also see the balance of the accounts in your Chart of Accounts by selecting the Go to bank register option.

You'll want to ensure that your QBO account and bank balance are matched by performing the reconciliation process regularly. Once finished, the program will automatically create a report for that session. You can use that data to serve as a reference in doing future reconciliation.
