Question

Does anyone know if Quickbooks has a discount for 501(c)(3) non-profits? We were paying $27/month and then it went up to 90 and now it's an insane $105 a month. Help!

Exorbitant quickbook costs for non-profits. Is there a discount program for charitable orgs?

    Hi there, @amanda156. I'm here to provide some clarifications about the discount on your nonprofit account in QuickBooks.

    QuickBooks Online provides a discounted rate for the first three months of your subscription. This promotion allows you to utilize the full services at a reduced price during this initial period. Afterward, please be aware that the subscription cost will revert to the standard pricing.

    At the same time, QuickBooks provides special pricing for nonprofit organizations in collaboration with TechSoup, a platform that links nonprofits with technology products and services. This partnership enables nonprofits to obtain QuickBooks at a reduced cost, making financial management tools more accessible and affordable.

    For more details about the information above, please see this website: Nonprofit accounting software.

    @amanda156

    Do you need to run any add-ons? e.g QB Payroll

    Just QB Plus and Online payments. We're trying to get it through TechSoup but despite being a c3, it's saying we're not qualified. Trying to get TechSoup support.

    If TechSoup says you don't qualify, there's nothing you can do about it. Your option is to switch to old QB Desktop with a non-subscription license and use separate online payments. If not, consider switching to another cloud-based accounting application.
