Question

Does anyone know why the app deletes my quantities and rates after I've already submitted and sent the estimate to a customer???

For example, I enter in 5 ton of rock at $10/ton... total should be $50 and appears that way until I go back to the estimate and then the total appears at only $10 (which is the price per ton) and doesn't multiply by 5 (5 ton x $10/ton = $50 but it will only show $10)

Hello, ChiefMeadows.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. I have few troubleshooting steps to help this sorted out. First, let's make sure your app is working properly we need to ensure that the app is updated into the latest version.

Also, we can reset the application to refresh it. Follow the steps below:

For iOS:

  1. Go to Help & Feedback at the top menu bar.
  2. Choose Reset App Data. Then Refresh.

If you're using an Android device:

  1. Go to the More Options ⋮ menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Tap Refresh Data, and then choose Yes.

For additional troubleshooting options for Andriod, you can check out this article: Fix common errors in the QuickBooks Online mobile app for Android

If still get the same result, let's uninstall and reinstall the app to start on a clean cliche.

If none of these steps works, I recommend you get in touch with our QuickBooks Care Team. They can thoroughly investigate the reason why it doesn't multiple the rate and help find a permanent solution to this.

Here's how you can contact them:

  1. Go to the Help menu at the upper right.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter your concern.
  4. Click Let’s talk.
  5. Choose Get a callback or Message an agent to get a representative on the line.
