Hello there, @margiegraves528.

The filling method of your quarterly reports depends on your QuickBooks subscription. Let me share some information on how it works.

If you're using QuickBooks Online Payroll Full Service, your Federal and state payroll taxes are calculated, filed, and paid, automatically. This way, we can ensure your business processes taxes on time.

However, if you're using the Enhanced versions of payroll, you'd need to submit your own taxes. You have the option to file quarterly tax forms electronically or manually. You can e-file Form 941 through your Online Payroll account if it's active for federal electronic services.  You can refer to this article for more detailed information about which taxes and tax forms we handle for your business: Tax payments and forms Intuit payroll submits for you.

Here's how to file your quarterly forms in QuickBooks:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu.
  2. Choose the Payroll Tax tab.
  3. From the Forms section, you can view the Quarterly reports that you can file, print, and download.

You can refer to these articles for more detailed steps in preparing your tax forms:

Keep me posted if you have other questions about using QuickBooks in preparing your payroll-related reports and forms. Take care!
