Does QBO offer native integration with Stripe?

I see a number of third-party apps in the app store but, I'd prefer a native integration if available. Does this option exist? If not, which of the 3rd-party apps do you recommend?

What kind of integration do you need? If you only need to reconcile Stripe transactions into QBO, you can explore this one

But if you need to send invoices with Stripe as the payment link, you can use a free invoicing app to integrate with QBO.

    QuickBooks Online (QBO) only offers custom integration. One of the key advantages of this is it can integrate with several third-party applications that can cater to your business needs. Aside from the ability to address the unique requirements and intricacies of the enterprise's specific application, custom integration also offers a high degree of flexibility, as it can be designed to meet unique and complex integration requirements. However, you'll need another application to integrate Stripe into QuickBooks.

    What exactly is this custom integration?  Is it an API I can use to make the connection myself?  Or is it only something I get by purchasing yet another product to do just this one thing (which I very much do not want to have to pay for).

     

    Is there any documentation on this "custom integration" you speak about?

    The custom integration my colleague mentioned entails QuickBooks Online's ability to seamlessly integrate with various software, systems, platforms, or websites, tailored to meet the specific needs of a business. 

     

    If you are developing an app, you can connect to the QuickBooks API for you to be guided. However, if you want to connect with Stripe which is a different app, you will need a 3rd party connector to integrate.     To connect the two, you'll need to use a third-party app. One option is Connex, which can automatically sync orders, inventory, and fees between Stripe and QBO. ​

    Alternatively, if you're looking for a no-code solution to integrate Stripe with QuickBooks, you might consider platforms like Skyvia. They offer tools to automate data flows between various services

    Nope, QuickBooks Online doesn’t have a native integration with Stripe at the moment. I looked everywhere for one too because I wanted to avoid extra apps — but it just doesn’t exist right now.

    QuickBooks can connect to your bank account and pull Stripe payouts, but it won’t show individual sales, fees, or refunds. That made my books super inaccurate.

    I ended up using Synder and it’s honestly been perfect for this. It’s a third-party app, but:

    • It pulls in every Stripe sale, fee, refund — all the details

    • Syncs them into QBO automatically

    • Keeps everything matched and clean for reconciliation

    Once I set it up, it just worked in the background. If you’re looking for something reliable and hands-off, Synder is the one I’d go with.
