Question

Downloaded the Amazon Business Prime app. Told that I'm connected to Amazon Business. Set dates, hit update. Message: "This might take a while." Then, nothing. Ideas?

Hello, info-frogtowngre.

As what the message suggests, the transactions may take a while for them to be imported within QuickBooks. We can wait it out until they do. However if the records still did not import at the time of this reply, I'll lend a hand and run some troubleshooting steps to help you fix this.

I take it that you're using the browser to sync the data with QuickBooks. I'll lay down the solution below to help you take care of this.

After the message prompt, a cache-related issue is likely preventing the data from coming in. So, let's confirm this by using an incognito or private browser:

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P.

Log in to your QuickBooks Online account, then sync the Amazon Business app again if needed. Go through the setup and import the data to QuickBooks. When the system is able to do so, let's go back to the regular browser.

Then, let's clear the cache to remove the webpage data that's causing the issue. After clearing, close out any browser processes to complete the steps. Though, another option is to use a supported browser

Though if you're using the QuickBooks Online mobile app to set up everything, let's make sure it is updated to the latest version.

We'll want open Apple Store or Google Play then find the QuickBooks app, then update it from there. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app also works as a solution.
