Export to quickbooks online

If you're referring to the Intuit Online Payroll (IOP) as the new payroll software, we have updated the export setup flow between IOP and QuickBooks Online (QBO). This option can be found in the Setup tab.

Before we proceed, please note that if this is your first time to import data and haven't set up payroll accounts in QuickBooks yet, Intuit will set them up for you.

Here's how to do it:

1. In IOP, go to the Setup tab.
2. Select Preferences in the Export heading.
3. Choose QuickBooks Online from the software drop-down list. 
4. Since QBO only accounts don't require security questions, the system may prompt the customer to select a security question and answer.

After that, you need to set up accounts in your IOP account. You can refer to this article and proceed to Steps 4-5 for the detailed steps on how: Setup export of IOP data to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
