Exporting paychecks to Quickbooks is not working. It says "You can't export until you sign in to Quickbooks Online again. Go to Export preferences and sign in again".

Are you planning to export paychecks from a QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll without accounting (standalone) to another QBO account?

If so, I suggest signing in to your QBO account as a primary admin to sync the paychecks successfully. Then, select the correct account the payroll transactions should sync to avoid issues. 

Before you proceed, there are several things to consider. I've listed them below:

• Export setup must be completed by a Primary admin.
• If the Primary Admin is a Firm user, they must transfer the role to a non-Firm user first.
• Standalone Payroll can't export transactions to QBO accounts with payroll.

Once ready, follow these steps to set up your preferences in your payroll account:

1. Log out to your Core, Premium, or Elite payroll account and log in again as a primary admin.
2. From the Gear icon, select Payroll settings.
3. In Export, select Edit.
4. Choose QuickBooks Online.
5. Hit Continue.
6. QuickBooks will create default accounts for your wages, expenses, and liabilities. Choose Edit to modify them.
7. When complete, select Done twice.

After that, you'll be asked to log in to your other QBO account (ensure you sign in as a primary admin). Then, you can start exporting again. Please see Step 2 for the detailed instructions: Move your payroll data into QuickBooks.

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payroll Support Team. They're equipped with tools to check the cause. It'll also allow them to submit a ticket to our engineering team to alert them about the issue if necessary.
