giving an accountant access to database

When I give a local accountant access to my Quickbooks Online account by inviting him, is he able to make a copy of my quickbooks online database? When  he is making changes to it will it affect what I am doing? How does Quickbooks differentiate between what I am doing and what the accountant is doing?

My accountant had access for over a year but can no longer access my account.  How do I re-authorize her access?

Let's reinvite your accountant so they can review and ensure the accuracy of your bookkeeping.

 

Inviting your accountant allows them to use powerful tools to easily review your records, make necessary corrections, and collaborate with you on any issues that may arise. 

 

Here's how to do it:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon in the top-right corner of your screen.
  2. Select Manage users under Your company.
  3. Enter your accountant’s email address, then press Invite.


Your accountant will receive an email invitation and their status will change to Active once they accept.

 

In case your accountant is still unable to access your company, I suggest letting them sign in through a private browser to isolate browser issues as the root cause of the problem. If everything works smoothly, they can clear the cache or use an alternative browser to access QuickBooks.
