Question

Has anyone been able to link a Bank of Oklahoma bank account to QBO since their login method update ? The switch from 3 to 2 credential fields isn't updated on QBO yet

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser.

I don't see how that would solve the issue.

It seems to be a coding issue on QBO's side since you cannot login considering that one field remains blank.

I know how convenient it is to link your bank without any issues, exco-accounting-.

Unexpected behaviors when connecting your account are usually caused by a browser-related issue. The stored cache can affect how the interface is shown in the program.

To rectify this, I'd recommend accessing your QuickBooks account via a private window to determine if there's an issue with the browser.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

Once logged in, connect your bank again. If it works, let's clear the browser's cache to ensure the program performs efficiently.

If private browsing doesn't work, I'd recommend using other supported browsers

Also, Intuit is partnering with banks to build more reliable connections. In case none of these fixes the problem, I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team to have this investigated.

In the meantime, you can manually upload your bank data into QuickBooks.

Once your account is connected, I encourage reviewing and categorizing your transactions to put them in the correct accounts.

I'm only a few clicks away if you need additional help managing your bank accounts and transactions. I'm here always here to back you up.
